@Leeanne she’s a child who needs healthcare; i see no problem with the state providing that for her.

i really hope she gets her day in court and also gets some therapy for what she’s been through. this story made me want to cry, i hope that DHS gets everything they deserve for letting a child be abused like that under their care.

So this individual is in foster care since age 11, yet is somehow still able to get the treatment to become the opposite sex? Who exactly is taking care of that bill?

This sad story simply adds to the importance of passing hate crime legislation. This type of ignorance and bigotry is far too rampant with little evidence of diminishing in those most hateful towards our community.
