Perhaps the religious right would come out in favor of banning single parent adoptions, providing foster care, and even taking away the parental rights of single parents. Time to point out what the religious right is really about - freaks. As Voltaire said in the time that was leading up to the French revolution: People who believe absurdities, will commit atrocities. 9/11 was one example, but we have lots of that type of mentality here within the US. He also said " Mankind will be free only when the last king is strangled with the guts of the last priest." We aren't there yet, but his statement still has elements of truth in it today.
