What caused this to happen re the repubs- the realization that the nation is beginning to recognize that party has been taken over at the national level by the Cro-magnons.

For 5 years, the fair-minded legislators of the Indiana statehouse have beaten back one way or another an IN antigay marriage amendment. IN is no shining star in the pro-equality “constellation”, but it does have some legislators there willing to endanger their careers to do the right thing.
