Conservative Islam represents one of the biggest global threats to gay rights (heck, civil rights!) in the 21st Century. That it is the world’s fastest-growing religion is additionally worrisome as years down the road we could see formerly tolerant countries become intolerant theocracies. Unless more moderate, modern elements within Islam can gain ascendancy then things look very poor in the coming decades.

wow.. these interpretations of Islam are strict.

Sex (male/female/intersex) is biological. Gender is a social construct..like “boys and girls,” not something dictated by religion.

I guess they’re not interested in knowing the difference.

i wished Muslims leaders acted like humans.we are born gay lesbians bi transgender without the teaching of any book or cult. so we do not need outdated propaganda to teach us how we are to be born . wake up this is 2008 not the middle ages . do not force your ways onto others . we atheists also have our own thought and not force them on others.no law ,religion or god has power or wright to say who i am . i am who i was naturally born a gay man .

The whole concept of sex acts against “the order of nature” is ridiculous. Many variations on sexuality exist within the animal kingdom and are by their very existence “natural”. These Imams are morons and are no better than the catholic cult leaders who have their equally ridiculous dogma.
