What a twit... so because we want to be treated equally in this country (which by the way is a birthright under the US Constitution) we are 'hateful homosexuals'.

Now you all see why I had to leave.

Re-read your posts Ms. Cardenas and listen to the tone. THAT is hatred.

Hold on to your apron strings sweetheart. Marriage equality will come to Idaho far later than we would like. But I promise you, it is going to come far, far sooner than you and your kind would like.

Oh, and the jerk who gave the phone number to the pool in order to have hatred spread on them, good on ya. What a hateful person you are. I work high up in the YMCA Organization and have told them of this, and we have made sure the pool will be taken care of and know how proud we are that THEY stood up for THEIR rights as well. They have all the right in the world to respect the laws that were set down when Idaho was first named a state. All of you hateful homosexuals are the reason why no one wants to give way to our laws, because all you do is take, take, TAKE. We protect the rights of the way of life God intended.

Good, I'm glad the pool upheld their views and laws, as they should have. That couple should move somewhere else, where they are accepted, if they excpect to be given privelages. It's sad enough to say there are a few states that give this family the right to be a "family". And of course they have to get all fussy about it, when the law of family definition was set decades ago.

idaho are you paying attention? Domestic partnerships in Nevada and in neighboring Washington State. Not all of the West is a lost cause.

We know where to take our tourism dollars, now. Hear that, Idaho?

I was raised in Idaho. You will never find more beautiful country than in the panhandle. It's called America's switzerland for a reason.

I love Idaho.

But I had to leave it because of the overly conservative - Mormon mentality. I just couldn't take it any longer. And that includes my family.

I've been in New York city for 7 years, and while there are not mountains or forests to inspire, it is better in many ways.

I hope to make it up to Vermont, NH or Maine in the coming years...

Idaho will be one of the last states to grant same sex couples any legal recognition or rights. So unfortunate such a beautiful land is populated with such prejudiced people.

HOW Un-Patriotic!

Article IV, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, commonly known as the Full Faith and Credit Clause, addresses the duties that states within the United States have to respect the "public acts, records, and judicial proceedings" of other states. According to the Supreme Court, there is a difference between the credit owed to laws (i.e. legislative measures and common law) as compared to the credit owed to judgments.[1] Judgments are generally entitled to greater respect than laws, in other states.[2] At present, it is widely agreed that this Clause of the Constitution has little impact on a court's choice of law decision,[3] although this Clause of the Constitution was once interpreted differently.[4]

28 USC §1738: Such Acts, records and judicial proceedings or copies thereof, so authenticated, shall have the same full faith and credit in every court within the US and it Territories and Possessions as they have by law or usage in the courts of such State, Territory or Possession from which they are taken.

The full faith and credit clause explains reciprocity in licenses, and extradition in crimes.

I looked up this place on the web and found their phone number. I called and told them whagt I thought of their policy and told them I will not support their facility until they learn to treat everybody with respect. I suggest you do the same.
