Isn’t it time for the LGBT Community to claim and stand up for the true teachings of Jesus Christ rather than allow these religious homophobes to hijack the Christian faith with their distortions based on cultural ignorance and prejudice, which has nothing do with the Love of God.

Priest903..If I went to a site where I see two people kissing, of the opposite sex, is there a problem? No,then why a problem with two people of the same sex kissing? More than a little hypocrisy here, Priest903. Don’t you think it time to rid yourself of the homophobic bigotry I see in your words. Such homophobia and bigotry runs rampant thoughout our religious communities. Hardly followers of the Master Jesus, who emcompassed ALL people.

Please I urge all of you to email your House of Reps and Senators today. I know I did last week. It felt good to even send my voice out. I pray that this bill pass. If you only know how much FBI agents really want to see this pass too. The only can follow what is made law.

@Priest – you state “how can we teach the works of jesus and the will of god if the world is teaching otherwise”…ummm lets see, your imaginary Jesus said that the two greatest commandments are “Love god, Love thy neighbor”…do you see a problem with your attitude by not supporting leg. that disuades hate? My husband and I kiss every day in front of our two daughters – what it is showing them is that we love each other, are happy, and are a family – just like any other and that it makes no difference that there are two men (or two women) as the parents who love their children, care for them, and support them. This past week we saw the application of the hate crimes law in CO for the first time applied when a trans teen was brutally murdered, the hate crime law will keep this vile human from hurting others and allow love to flurish and hopefully send a powerfull message. Where is the problem that you speak of?
