Obama snubbed Michigan in the primary and then managed to steal delegates away from Clinton before securing the nomination. He has alot of catching up to do in Michigan if he wants to win the state. Obama's smartest move would be to select Evan Bayh of Indiana for his V.P. The great lakes states of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio are very similiar in many ways and have common interests. Pennsylvania and Minnesota to lesser degrees but certainly more like MI,IN,OH than a southern state like Virginia.
