I can’t believe this i have been a long time fan of the show, on and off for years. I recently came came back to the show full force because i’ve been so wrapped up in the oliver storyline it would be a real shame to take his storyline out of the forefront. I know I, and all the other fans would really feel the loss.

In ABC’s defense most soap opera couples do break up at least once during their fictional relationships. To that end, over on “As the World Turns” it looks like Luke may leave Noah and end up with Dr. Oliver Reid (hooray!).

Perhaps Fish and Kyle will eventually find their way back together. In the mean time, ABC implied that the relationship between the two would be nixed rather than the characters. Consequently, Fish may be able to continue his work on the show as a police officer, a role that undoubtedly introduces the American populace to the unsung contributions gay and lesbian individuals make to the real world.

Don’t you get it?

ABC already for the kudos and the audience bump that their BUSINESS DECISION was targeted at.

You can’t expect them to continue a storyline they adopted ONLY for commercial reasons? Even I am not naive enough to believe that they had any other motivation but an increased bottom line.
