Three wives, and some totally arrogant issue – I forget the details, when one of his wives was in the hospital.

I’m convinced that the current leadership of the republican party is so corrupt, there is nothing left to do except let them die out, and pick up the moderate, thinking republicans into a democratic party where issues will be discussed for the benefit of the country, not the madness of the limbaughs.

I also predict that within a year, the country will really really come to realize what a monstrosity the Bush administration was. Its combination of those who cater to greed, and those who always have to have some minority to hate , will be exposed and understood.

We just need to put a watch in the zoos, to insure the elephants there don’t get confused, and commit suicide.

I wish we could truly separate church and state on this issue. Although it was very hard to tell at the time, it was a mistake for the government to subsidize marriages. From a governmental standpoint, EVERYone should have civil unions, and only churches do the “marriage” thang. That way, we can sidestep the whole “redefining marriage” criticism/fear.

I’m eagerly awaiting the evolution of the discussion in that direction. “What were we doing getting government involved in ‘marriage’ in the first place?!”
