I am 17 and I know how it feels to have someone to treat you less than human because of who/what you desire. I am in school [sleep away]and one day my friends [mainly of gay & homosezual orientation] and I [an out lesbian] went to the movie room to watch a movie. After a staff member came into the movie room and saw what we were watching; we were told that we couldn't watch the movie because of it content. Ironically enough the movie was a male homosexual movie known to many as Noah's Arc. I felt targeted and I brought it to the staff's attention. The staff said that they would take to their coworkers and that they would have a mediation that never happened. The fact that people are so damn ignorant in this day and age is sad and it makes me sick to my stomach. There is no reason that we should be treated this way. I really salute that kid. Took me 7 years to come out when I realized I was gay at 13. Now I'm fighting just to keep a pride sticker on my car without it being scraped off, or having people egg my car. Funny how when you put it out there to everyday people your nor afriad and are proud of who you are they go nuts. Doesnt matter I served in the military and protected your rights and would have gladly given my life to defend them, but no go ahead and say im a freak and I'm going to hell and that I'm destroying families.
