{QUOTE}At Palm Beach Atlantic the student handbook forbids, “sexual activity that is inconsistent with biblical teaching, such as: … homosexual behavior.”{QUOTE}

Inconsistent with Biblical Teaching... hmmm, the only references I recall, are in Leviticus, which doesn't apply to Judeo-Christianity any more, as Jesus' Birth, Death and Resurrection fulfilled " The Law." The 913+/- laws in the Old Testament were for the Jews. PBA is not a Hebrew School, is it? The other references, such as those in 1&2 Corinthians and Romans are often taken out of context. The Apostle Paul was referring to The Christians, yes CHRISTIANS who were doing all sorts of sexual acts to IDOLS in the Temples. Paul never addressed loving couples, but people who were performing prostitution or sex to idols in the Temples as a form of worship. Paul also referred to people who engage in sexual activity that is "Para-Physin" or "Against one's inherent nature." Look it up. Christians have a long way to go when it comes to understanding their own handbook, The Bible.

@Jay; When they contact the schools and inform them they will be appearing, the schools are usually open to allowing them to come to their campus but there are guidelines they agree to beforehand.
Setting such guidelines and rules about where you will go, where you will hold your 'stop', etc. and then completely disregarding them is ridiculous and is counter-productive to opening dialog with students about homosexuality. You're basically spitting in their faces.

Way to go Soulforce. Anyone that studied MLK Jr. knows that non-violent civil disobedience is almost the only way to bring attention to inequalities that exist in the US. Keep it up. When you're in CO again I'll join you. If everyone believed this way equality would rule the law, not discrimination and ignorance.

The whole point of civil disobedience is to call attention to injustice. Civil disobedience requires the violation of unjust laws, such as refusing to allow gay people on campus.

I took part in one of Soul Force's previous meetings at a campus last year. Although I agree with their message, they do, quite often, purposely violate the rules of the school or the law in order to get arrested and gain attention.

I strongly disagree, they cannot expect people to respect them and listen to them if they're going to ignore the school's rules, requests or warnings from police.
