Now it’s up to the California Supreme Court to overturn Prop 8. Since they passed same-sex marriage, I am optimistic, although it will take courage from the court. If Prop 8 is not removed we must ruthlessly target our political enemies by vigorously supporting those who support our rights. What we really need is a new governor, a Democrat or Independent, who isn’t a fascist shill like Schwartzenazi.

Explain, please, why we must follow the tenets of your religion – one that we perhaps are not members of. Or don’t you actualy believe in freedom of religion?

Janet, if people had been allowed to vote on inter-racial marriage back in the 50s, it would not have been made legal. 2/3 of the country was against. Legislators had to step in and make it legal. That should be the case here.

AJ, the right keeps saying that laws legalizing gay marriage would force churches against gay marriage to perform them. The law just states that to reassure the right that that will not be the case.
