Gay man who ate lover’s flesh found guilty

A former Mr. Gay UK was found guilty of murdering a former boyfriend before carving, cooking and eating flesh from his thigh, according to The Times.

Anthony Morley, 36, slashed Damian Oldfield’s throat before stabbing him several times after they went to bed together in April.

Morley, wearing a white dressing gown and flip flops, then walked casually down the street to a restaurant and told the staff that he killed someone.

Employees alerted police.

The jury deliberated for just over two hours before returning a guilty verdict. Morley will be sentenced on Monday.

    • A lot of cannibals are gay. . . Why do I think that is???
Tell me why the *overwhelming* majority of serial killers are heterosexual white males. I think it comes from the same place that the desire to be in control of others comes from.

    • Why bring faith in to it? think of all the evil things going on in the world by people justified by their faith. There will always be evil people with faith and evil ones without! The death penalty is evil too, two wrongs don’t make a right. Just let the evil people rot in prison instead. BTW our prisons in the UK are oversubscribed, can we send you some of ours?!

    • It’s not about faith stopping men straight or gay from these things, although that helps, it’s the fact that you love your fellow man or woman in general far too much to even think of such amazing things as eating and cooking a person.

Unless your brain was possessed by severely twisted thoughts, delusions or uncontrolable insane urges to commit what most regard as acts requiring a straight jacket, a padded cell, heavy meds for a brain chemistry out of order, and 24 hour a day confinement in a mental institution preferably handcuffed to a wall.
You don’t have to like a particular person, but you have enough regard for their right to get old and die of natural causes that you wouldn’t even for one second contemplate doing that.

    • rjb, you should not drink and post.

I really can not believe that you think that the man above was not “desperately evil.” If you do not think that cannibalizing someone is evil, what do you think is?

And no, “there but before the Grace of God” is not correct. Though I do feel that faith certainly is a strong reason in guiding us to do right, I do not think that the majority of those that do no practice faith would commit such attrocities.

    • Happily, Tiger Tzu, the UK doesn’t have the death penalty (like most other developed nations), and I don’t think one needs to believe that a man is “desperately evil” because he kills his lover – “there but for the grace of God” might be a more salutary thought.

In a somewhat mischievous spirit, however, it is interesting to note that so many cannibalistic murderers – including those mentioned above – are gay men. Not all gay men are cannibals (so I believe), but a hella lot of cannibals are gay. Why IS that, do you think?

    • I find no redeeming value to getting to know all about exacty how a cannibal cooks and eats his victims. Haven’t we already lived through other gay cannibals like German piece of scum Armin Meiwes? spelling right? Who cooked male parts of Berndt-Jorgen Brandes down it with wine as did his victim while alive! and then slaughtered him like an animal the American Dahmer living in Milwaukee, Wisconsim who cut up and ate men and who waa later murdered in prison.

I guess one can never be too careful about who you meet.

But do we really need to about any more of these types of desperately evil men?

Maybe we need to know of a murderer on the loose, maybe we need to learn of his cold-blooded and cannibalistic fantasies and insanity. But do we really need to know every gruesome detail of exactly what he did with all the body parts and just how he cooked and ate his victims?

    • I’m waiting for Ruby-Sachs to post and tell us how this young, impressionable 36 year old should be rehabilitated and released back into society.

    • ‘Roid rage? (no puns intended). Unfortunately the UK doesn’t have the death penalty. I would surely hate to be this guy’s cellmate.
