He was smoking and kids often stop to bum cigaretts off him, his partner assuming this was the case also, kept walking when the kid stopped them, he wasn’t but a few steps away.

You can lay all these hate crimes at the feet of the religious right, and their pandering leaders. The same people who talk about protecting life.

If only we had a “proxy murder” law. Where those who incite hatred via religion, are held responsible as accessories before the fact for the crimes they cause to happen.

Don’t talk to strangers, even if they seem nice. Criminals and thieves think that we are vulnerable and easy targets. In this economy they are more desperate than ever so we as gay people need to be extra careful and aware of our surroundings whilst walking about minding our business. You never know when a thug is going to come jump you.

What I don’t understand is why would his partner keep on walking when this guy on the bike came up to them?

Sounds fishy to me…
