BIG GLAMOUR – Clay did not adopt a baby. His son Parker is his biological son that he had with his executive producer, Jaymes Foster (sister of David Foster). They are raising Parker together, sort of like a couple who are divorced but really like each other and are continuing to raise kids together. That’s what he said on GMA when he did his interview with Diane Sawyer.

I am sorry that Adam lost. I think he is a great singer and entertainer. I saw him on YouTube where he sang “My Prayer”. It had me in tears. I wish he would have sang that on Idol and then maybe they could see how versatile he can be. Bravo, Adam.

i think adam is just amazing…!!! listen to him sing…look at his dress sense….see how unique and creative he is….the confidence and the cutest smile ever…and who cares if he’s gay or not, this is a singing competition!!! he deserves to be the winner!

Ann I always enjoy your articles and I think it is because when you write about Adam Lambert “You get him” and you share the feelings many of his fans have where he is concerned. I feel in some ways he has been a pawn for the press and American Idol to use as they wish. He certainly has made them a lot of money. Some have said that the judges are overstepping in their endorsement of Adam, but could it just possibly be because he i so stalented and an amazing showman. He is a constant surprise and his sheer joy in performing is something you can’t miss. Perhaps the judges are attempting to level the playing field. Seventeen years of hard work has brought him to where he is today. I think he deserves a fair shot at the #1 spot free of all the garbage that has surrounded the show this season. but, I guess that can’t happen now. Or can it?

He has real talent and he has the self-confidence to do his own thing. He DOES NOT sing the midtempo R&B that usually rules over “Idol.” All the others who sounded good following that same path? They’re gone except Kris. It’ll be interesting to see if Adam builds a major career for himself. Hope so, because he’s already demonstrated that he has the work ethic, and no doubt can he go balls-out in trying something different. That’s cool.

I dont care if Adam is Gay, I have lived to see the beginning of Elvis and the Beatles and this is the first time in all these years I have been so addicted to any artist. I dont care if he is gay ( big deal). When I heard that there were only 1 millon votes between him and Kris I was in shock. Please ask all your neighbors and friends to have a dial for Adam party.Or just plain dial dial dial for 4 hours. I have got on the phone and called in favors.. Note and they had better do it. and he has a good voice.I think the point W.W.was making,is that A.I.”powers
that be”,would not allow C.A.(at that time)to be the winner because he is gay and producers of a show are always conscious of the Public’s perception of whoever they decide to make the winner.Come on Kris,are you so naive as to believe that it’s the Public Viewing Audience,
the Fans,who decide who will be the winner?!It’s Reality TV…It’s scripted!
Rueben Studdard has not produced half the work that Clay Aiken has,since the show.Ruben was ill for a Long Time,as I recall,and did not produce his first CD until way after he was handed the title of American Idol…and when it did come out,it recieved a luke warm reception from his fans.Clay Aiken,on the other hand,went to work immediately after being robbed of first place because he is gay,and put out several CD’s that did very well.He set-up some Charities for the underprivileged,made scores of personal appearances,I think he is presently on Broadway doing,SPAM-A-LOT
…Hell,he was even on the cover of People Magazine when he found that being gay on the downlow,didn’t harm his CD sales and came out as a proud Father to an adopted child! Sorry Kris…Weho Willy’s points were valid.
