Gay behind in Maine, Washington
11.04.2009 12:22am EST
Maine just flipped on us, with 51 percent of the vote now for the marriage ban and 48 percent for gay marriage.
Weirdly, Washington has almost the exact same numbers at the moment – 53 percent against DP benefits, 47 for them. However, Washington is unlikely to be decided tonight – mail in ballots are expected to trickle in over the next week.

I am sorry John. But most other minorities have won in the Federal courts first. The legislation comes later. If we won the national rights, the states could not overcome. This has nothing to do with state elections. It has to do with a Federal government and supposedly sympathetic party which gives us platitudes and nothing more.

considering that nearly twice the amount of money was raised to uphold same-sex marriage in maine, i think the results in california and maine have decidedly pointed at the fact that the homos that are supposed to be organizing and producing results can’t do jack fucking shit. and a deserved “fuck you” to them! woo hoo! yay for straighties!
My fellow Americans:
I can say this with confidence before the votes are counted because when you watch a player lose a game the same way time and again, it’s not difficult to guess what the same moves will result in once more.
Allow me to show you why you will not win popular support for being treated decently as humans, with the simple wish to be taken seriously and to gain respect as legitimate family leaders.
Because when you are not taken seriously nor given respect as family leaders … and lose,… this is how your political shepard’s instruct you to protest:

The news reports it because it’s always there. Which leaves us all wondering…
If losing your dignity motivates you to dress up, sing, dance in the street and leisurely stroll about smiling…
Then what do you propose to have lost when it appears you keep winning whats in your heart: a chance for public buffoonery?
You know who you are, and who you aren’t.
Whenever you’re serious, whenever you’re truly sick of watching your dignity get put on a ballot for the masses to trumpet your humiliation at the polls again and again, look around you;
And decide if your as happy as these people to lose. If you’re not, walk away.
Whatever you do then will be two things:
A departure from a lost flock, and more importantly, and in more ways than one-
Totally up to you.
