The city probably does not have Internal Affairs division to do a proper self investigation, however there should be a half civilian half police officer investigation done. I would suspect there would be a white washing done as Texas police are notorious for being shoot from the hip type police men.
I am guessing at best it will be covered up.

This is one of the big reasons why we need an national anti bias law. Most of the time you can say that the FBI is fair and impartial. This is one of those times when you need an outsider to tell the local people where to get off.

I am sure the rabid Texans (my nephew being one of them) are comfortable with hitting old ladies with 80,000 volts of electricity and this will end up not even being a foot note as probably most Texans are down right bigots.

Been there , I live in Rhode Island got run over by a truck , I was lesbian truck bashed the South Kingstown Police did nothing . I’m still recovering 4 months later , nothing changes doesn’t matter where you live . Thank-you S.K.P.D. , I’m still learning how to walk again , maybe I’ll be able to put some shoes on by Christmas …..

Keep in mind the apology only was offered after an audience member suggested it. Apology NOT ACCEPTED.This incident needs to be fully investigated and the “real” reason for the raid exposed.A man was severly injured and even if I were to believe the cops(which I do not) they had no justification for this level of force to be imployed.

The Guy (and his family) that was beat to a pulp and hospitalized needs to make a complaint to the FBI to have Federal Investigation, the same type that was done in the 1960′s with Racial Discrimination…

Also, If he doesn’t already have one, he needs a good attorney to represent him against the Ft. Worth Police Dept.

Texas (and Oklahoma) has problems with gay men and lesbians, have no respect, no dignity and love to bash women, blacks and gays – Oh yes the 1930 values hey (those people in the south can not get over the “good old days”).

At least in New England we know how to treat human beings (ALL of them, no exceptions) with full respect, opourtunities and dignity.

Texas is a crap hole. That’s all that needs to be said. It wouldn’t be so bad if the Redneck-Publicans weren’t all over the place. But the weather sucks. The Texas REpublicans suck, heck, a great many of it’s Democrats suck too. Infact Texas and Oklahematoma could both pretty much slide into the Gulf and the country would be better off.
