it has always been my belief that the religious bible thumpers have called an all out war on the gay men and woman of this country. the lines have been drawn and blood has been spilled. we lost this because we were not orginized enough to fight them off. we had more straight backers than our own gay community.
How sad is that when we can not fight for our very existence.

The religious zealots want a fight they’ve got one. they bring a stick we bring a knife along with will power and brains.
its time to start taxing the churces this is a WAR that we can not afford to lose.

In response to this false statement:

It is the first time such a vote has taken place in state where gay unions are legal.

The unions were not made legal by the people but by a few judges…..scary place to be where your laws can be changed in the blink of an eye. If it can “give you rights” then just as quick can lock your a@@ up in jail. If you have the support then change the LAW.

this proves we live in a DICTATORSHIP not democracy gays are maximum 15% of the population so the non gays can be 85% and dictate their sexuality on us .it will take time and continuous fighting for us to be free. the colored people where years in segregation and humiliation now it is our time but not to forget we have over 20% of all income in the country we should use that as a weapon.

I think that the only thing we can blame Mayor Newsom for is being too arrogant about his win. Really, if he could have appeared more “civil” and appreciative of the California Supreme Court’s decision, then the right wing couldn’t have used the video of him for their bigoted propaganda.

Just like nobody likes a sore loser, even more people despise a sore winner.

Mayor Newsom, crank it down a few notches and be more “civil” vs. being so bragadocious.
