The first time I had a man come on to me, as a teenager, was a Mormon Bishop, at a time when I was seeing his daughter. That was, of course, before I came out.

He had moved what I know now was a young street hustler into his home.

I used to go Christmas caroling with young Mormon missionaries and the joke I shared with friends who had similar experiences was "why is he trying to shift my left knee each time he tries to change gears?"

In other words, I see the same hypocrisy in the Mormon church about its own many gay members as I do in the Catholic church with its many gay priests.

Not all religions are quite so hypocritical as those incredibly restrictive, bigoted, worldwide entities who somehow came to believe that Jesus asked them to disseminate hate.

I'm not sure I see humor in this. What I see is an over-developed sense of entitlement, combined with utter hypocrisy. It is utterly disingenuous for the church to have refused to have participate in the making of the film and then to immediately condemn it. They were offered a say. They declined. What are we to think?

Thank you Facebook User, interesting trailer.
Ok this article was funny: "Church officials have seen the trailer and other online materials about the film, LDS spokeswoman Kim Farah said, and “it is obvious that anyone looking for balance and thoughtful discussion of a serious subject will need to look elsewhere.” ~>And then this was just too cute: "Cowan said he “begged” for church participation – through both official channels and personal connections – but was rejected. “I got an immediate no,” he said." So...mormons don't want to open up about anything yet are looking for serious thoughtful discussion at the same time? Anyone else see the humor here?
