While my vote is solidly Democratic, if it weren't I'd look at both VP candidates closely and still vote Democratic. My fear is that with blatant sexism that permeates much of the world, that the world would not take a "President Palin" seriously. Heck, even I don't. I find her too risky to present to the world. President Obama and Vice-President Biden would be my choice any day over the offerings of the other ticket. Right on,Kevin and Vanndean! While my vote is solidly Democratic, if it weren’t I’d look at both VP candidates closely and still vote Democratic.

My other concern, which plays into that fear is that the person in the Number 1 position is of such an advanced age and has had health problems of a serious nature in the past. It also bothers me that the candidate for Vice_President has stood before the American People and told untruths and her running mate has reiterated those untruths and when caught it was decided that they had simply "misspoke". I, for one citizen, have had enough of "Republican misspeak" over the last 8 years. I am still waiting for someone to explain how, without drastic changes in the Congress, McCain/Palin are going to do anything other than either continue the failed policies of the present administration or create deadlock in Washington.
