The statistical truth is nobody engages in safe sex 100% of the time. That's why the focus of prevention campaigns has shifted to "know your partner" because they realize now that safe sex 100% of the time is an unrealistic expectation for most people. HIV is still a problem in our community. Even though drug cocktails are helping HIV+ people stay alive longer, they are far from being cured. Many experience debilitating side effects from these toxic medications and some have become resistant to all the drugs out there. So keep that in mind if you think that HIV+ isn't a big deal anymore.
