M & P were inside and were probably not even aware of the ruckus outside. Some anti war person said "their permit had expired but some people still wanted to demonstrate and protest. Well I'd like to have a million dollars, so can I just go into any bank and take it? No because we are a country of laws. Sometimes the laws are bad or wrong headed and needed to be changed and that is done thru the courts or legislation. Not by taking away other peoples right to life, liberty etc. If you think I I oversimplify I hope your never on the floor above the fire apartment waiting for that aerial or towerladder that can't get thru a street full of rightous demonstrators. I saw this happen when the anachists used to riot in the east village in Manhattan. Your probably right on with the people of that fair city though about the republicans leaving.
