A search of local salvage yards will more than likely find the statue. Back in the 70s bronze urns were stolen from my grandparents graves. Here in Los Angeles a famous statue of a prospector was sawed from it's base and sold to a scrap dealer. New laws dealing with sort of vandalism need to be crafted specifically for these crimes.
