If you are a GAY brother, then you are my friend (FAMILY) Now, I personally would NOT be in the military, cuz I can’t be in any GROUP, Organization where I am not able to truly be myself, which is a “gay male” (not a flamer, but really what I am)

Anyway, what I would suggest to YOU and our other LGBT military family is that you KEEP YOUR ASS ALIVE 1st and foremost. Secondly, Come HOME, Come out of the Closet when you do get home! Put your Medals, put your pictures, your stories (of all your hard work) in the FACES of these “Str8t” americans that sent you all off to “war”, ecspecially the Bible Thumping, Right Wing Haters…

They will eventually get tired and maybe will realize that our military is shrinking and good men and women that PROTECT(ed) them aren’t gonna stay in the cloest and be discriminated against anymore AND I believe that will help bring some change.

I know to some thats being “optimistic” but to me our ENTIRE movement is like that Brick Wall in Berlin that was broken down bit by bit in 1989.

We have our tools, our voices, we just need to keep our Fraternity (OUR ONE LOVE) and help each other as much as possible til we BREAK the fuck out of the wall that is keeping us as second class citizens!

I can tell you how persistance works, my used to be “Southern Baptist” father is now comprehending why MARRIAGE is a right that we deserve. Trust me, it hasnt been easy but with constant discussion, he finally seems to be getting it! He either gets it or he loses his son. So that makes his choice easier.

So get home, get out of the closet, get your voice and get your (OUR) rights!

I am no fan of Ken Starr, but watching the argument, he seemed to pretty well own the courtroom. My perception is that the anti-8 lawyers were a little inept. Why were no US Constitutional issues raised? Cos, without them, there is no opportunity for appeal, yes?

Also, i, and lots of others, are speaking as if the court has already issued it’s ruling. It hasn’t and we may be in for a shock.

I guess we could lock the “Breeders” away in camps, use them as baby making machines, and raise the children to be Gay.

Of course, being Gay or Straight isn’t a choice so we’d become the very thing we fight.

Also, shouldn’t domestic partnerships be taught in schools?

And shouldn’t children be taught about gay sex since the state recognizes domestic partnerships, like how they would be taught gay sex if gay marriages are recognized?

I haven’t seen a commercial with a little girl running to her mommy saying she can domestic-partnership a princess yet, but shouldn’t their be one?

Maybe someone should make a kids book about two princes getting a domestic partnership as that seems to be ok with the religious public!
