A Bronx teacher is accused of bullying children in his classroom at South Bronx Charter School.
In court papers filed this week, Jared Alessandroni is accused of threatening to out a straight 9-year-old in his classroom. The boy was forced to write a note to his crush, a girl, saying he was gay.
“I was so humiliated,” the student told The New York Post. “It started to spread around the whole class and then everyone wanted to call me gay.”
In a separate lawsuit, he reportedly twisted a student’s arm because he did not like the way the child was walking.
Alessandroni, who left the school last year, said he was cleared of all wrongdoing.
“This was thoroughly investigated by the New York City Board of Ed,” he told The Post. “There were copious amounts of paperwork, and every single aspect of it was cleared without any caveat. They did interviews with the students and witnesses, and they all led to the same conclusion, that I was cleared on every count.”
As I recall, the criminal jury cleared OJ as well.
However……….
I would love to kick this guy’s A** and tell him its because i don’t like the way he walks.
Jared clearly needs every square inch of his ass kicked.
The question now becomes “Will he be hired by some other school or district and allowed to play out his prejudices on another group of children?” Perhaps he needs to try another field of employment where some adult can impress on him that he really does not care what he thinks about the way others walk.
Really scary; this “man” should lose his teaching license because of his childish bullying tactics. Truly sad when students are looking up to teachers as role models and for guidance. Instead the students get an adult school yard bully! I had a similar experience in 8th grade from a similarily insecure/sick teacher; this behavior cannot be tolerated any longer!
clearly, this man was bullied in elementary school and has regressed back to those days…
WTF? What is this freak’s malfunction? What kind of adult picks on a nine-year-old kid?
Maybe he can get a job teaching at a Catholic school in Denver?
If the case was reviewed and dismissed as he said it was, then I’m not sure the guy did anything wrong.
You guys are scary sometimes when you are so quick to bash someone who’s accused of being anti-gay. You could use a little bit more healthy skepticism.
