Boston cop in hot water over gay strippers

(Boston, Massachusetts) A Boston police officer is under investigation for allegedly using a patrol car with lights flashing to deliver two male strippers to a club appearance.

The unnamed officer allegedly went to Logan Airport to meet Arden and Jordan Jaric when they arrived from California.

The Jarics have appeared in gay adult videos and purport to be a gay couple.  They regularly are booked to strip at gay venues.

Among their credits are the video “Endless Crush” (2007) and “Winter Heat (2008).

The Boston Globe reports that the incident, which allegedly occurred last October, came to light during the investigation of a similar incident by a police officer in Providence, Rhode Island.  The paper does not say what happened to the officer in that case, but during the Providence probe a photo taken by cell phone surfaced showing the Boston police cruiser with it’s lights flashing

The Jarics also noted the police escort on a blog ,the Globe reported, quoting unnamed police sources.

“These are troubling allegations at a time when resources are stretched thin,” Boston Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis said in a statement.

“The department is taking this matter very seriously and it will be fully investigated,” the statement said.

The officer has been placed on desk duty while an internal affairs investigation is conducted.

    • I think your copy editor needs to watch some more porn. It’s not “Arden” Jaric, it’s ADEN Jaric. Aden and Jordan Jaric is the couple’s name.

Wow, that wasn’t difficult at all.

    • An open letter to the teachers of doctors and doctors to be at the University of Miami;

I read a disturbing article tonight and was wondering what ever happened to the part of the Hippocratic Oath that requires doctors and nurses as well, to do no harm. I know that due to pending leangle action against The Public Health Trust of Miami Dade County, and Memorial Hospital that no one in their right mind will go on the record and comment about what I am about to say, but that’s ok; at least I had the courage to say something.

As I read the article a pair of women and their three children had no choice but to place themselves in the hands of bigoted individuals. While traveling to take one of the curse ships that sail out of Miami one of the women became ill and eventually died! The other woman was toll that “she was in an anti-gay city and state, and she could expect to receive no information or acknowledgment as family.” Further, when the surviving women attempted to provide medical history the information was refused. This information could have possible save this individual’s life. What kinds of people live in Florida anyway? Or should I ask what kind of doctors does The State of Florida produce?

The instance above has nothing to do with weather or not the two women were in a relationship that The State of Florida approves of or does not approve of. It has to do with valuable time and effort being wasted because one person made the mistake of say that she was another women’s partner rather than saying that she was a traveling companion. Someone’s live was in the balance and no one wanted to take the shortest route to gaining information about someone condition because she happened to fall ill in an “anti-gay city and state” What in GOD’s name does saving one of GOD’s creatures have to do with what that person may or may not be doing in the bedroom. It is my understanding that it is GOD’s right and only GOD’s right to judge.

To the teacher of doctor’s please remember that although you may train doctors in The State of Florida some of them will end up setting up their practice in other States where thank GOD medical care and the Hippocratic Oath are held to a higher standard.

You may be wondering why I am writing you. Well it goes like this. I currently live in the state of Massachusetts. I am gay and do have a parent. We are not married yet and I have visited The State of Florida on several occasions. I also have Multiple Scoliosis. Tell me, who would be the best person to tell you what medications I was on or what physical condition I was in than the person I live with every day of my life. I know that with this one letter I will not be able to convince anyone nor do I have any dilution of doing so, that what happened to the women and the three children was wrong but just maybe this letter will spark some conversation that will at least instill some compassion.

      Thank you for your time.

    • Before everyone thinks this is a homophobic issue, here ae some facts that have not been reported in the story you posted.

      1) The club manager that booked and was escorting the Jarics, Scott Bitchall, has a record of First Degree Sexual Assault, on a 15 year old boy.

      2) The narrative that the Jarics provided on their website confirms that the police escort was pre-arrainged.

Why is an on duty Boston cop doing favors to a convicted child rapist? Check out the TV report that broke the story.

Shouldn’t responsible people in the gay community abhor child sexual violence, and hold those that commit such crimes accountable for their actions?

    • In my city, police officers are to use their cars for personal use. Cuts down on many offenders if they’re constantly seeing police cars everywhere, rather they’re on duty or not.
The story does not state rather that department allows the officers to use the cars for personal use, so making such statements is frugal.

    • The pornstars/hustlers/strippers all of the above apparently believed this was commonplace for that venue and blogged about it, which helped corroborate that this occurred in the separate investigation. Clever boys. But hey, that’s why they are what they are. Everyone in this story seems to have acted like a complete schmuck.

If this had been a female pornstar and straight cop, would it have been the biggest story in boston? I doubt it.

    • I can completely understand why he would want to give them a police escort. OK, so I’ve seen prettier, but they’re very attractive guys and if I’d been the policeman I might have been tempted to provide them with an escort too.

However, police of all people cannot be allowed to break the rules. Police are paid by taxpayers to enforce the law and protect society, not to escort gay strippers to a club. He certainly deserves a slap on the wrist for this.

I only hope that the punishment he receives would be the same had the strippers in question been women.

    • If it was a planned thing it was wrong. If it wasn’t… which is unlikely… than the public servant was aiding people in need (lights a bit much)… i remember being lost and a cop driving me somewhere. No lights… but was thankful in any case.

    • The taxpayers in this day and age of economic downturn and their own personal financial sacrifices expect police vehicles to used solely for emergencies or for catching crooks, not to be used as convenient public transportation. Especially not for carrying strippers to their club appearances and with lights flashing during a total non-emergency.

Who’d thought the police department would be put in such an unflattering light with one of their expensive vehicles being casually and inappropriately used as though it were the cop’s own “personal vehicle”? It belongs to the police department and not to him and I don’t think the taxpaying public would take kindly to him using it the way he did and his actions are a breach of the public trust.

The strippers should have hired a taxi to get to their club from the airport.

And if they were personal friends of his, why didn’t he use a non-police vehicle to avoid bringing this kind of unwanted scrutiny and potential embarassment to the police department? Being a cop is a serious, non-nonsense job and you’d think he’d use better judgement.

I think the public has a right to know when its public servants and protectors are doing screwball things on public time and with taxpayer money paying his salary and for the police vehicle.

    • I think that the fact that they were two strippers, whether male or female, is what got it in the papers. And I do think that what he did was really wrong. It was an abuse of his position as a public servant.

  • Lee Said: February 6th, 2009 at 5:46 pm
    • Well, the officer used a patrol car for personal use, and used the lights when not an emergency. Both issues deserve at least a slap on the wrist, but certainly not newsworthy. Had it been his family, probably nothing would have been said.

  • Bill Perdue Said: February 6th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
    • He was just being friendly.

    • The possessive of “it” is “its.” So much for gays being more intelligent than the general population. And what’s with the odd “purport to be a gay couple?” Writing this bad belongs in some Alabama edition of Pennysaver.

    • So is he introuble for escorting two people that were not approved to get an escort? Or is he introuble because he escorted two gay men to a club in his car. Whats the big issue if the escort was not approved of in this time when resources are stretched thin why not just make the cop pay for the gas. Its not like he did anything really wrong!
