To be real crude about it, usually I try to help keep the conversation decent, and not fall into the kind of slander that the McCain campaign has brought to our politics.

Yes, it WOULD hurt Obama/Biden to come out strongly in any way in support of the ‘kweers’. They could LOSE the election on that one thing alone, knowing how the radical ‘religious’ ‘right’ can twist issues and ‘bend’ the truth to stir outrage against us.

Once in office, however, I fully expect they will work to dismantle DOMA, DADT, and institute an ENDA (and I fully expect all gay people to hold their feet to the fire on those issues) AND allow courts to ‘remind’ the public that not treating ALL cizens equally before the law is UN-Constitutional.

Meanwhile, “Trace”, “Wayne” and “Kari” are all missing in action on this thread that PROVES they were/are wrong to support the McPalins. I ‘wonder’ why. (Not.)

It hurts to see him say “it’s regressive, I oppose, vote no.” His voice has no authority, since he and Obama have already said that they oppose gay marriage.

It’s disappointing…(and don’t get me started on Palin….).

I’m curious as to why she feels anything going on the world today interferes with her right to worship in any way she chooses. Even if worship required being naked and smothered in whipped cream and wearing tire chains, I wouldn’t care. Keep it private, in your home or in your church. Just keep it out of my government (and out of my sight, please!).
