It would be nice if the former employees of the Washington Blade could approach a gay publisher or some gay Buffett type with deep pockets who was willing to help fund the Washington Blade printing, employees'salaries and a new place to restart the newspaper.

I mean, being the nation's capital and a happening place with a vibrant gay community in needs something other than the Washington Post to comb through for local gay news, local gay entertainment anouncements, gay theater, gay places of worship, gay social event, gay groups that do gardening, Italian culture, boating, tours, cruises, gay bowling, gay dancing, hiking and many other ways for gay people to meet each other and enjoy nice outings etc, far beyond the outdated (for the DC metropolitan area and its mulitude of choices in everything that is) need to depend on bars and/or internet.

it is clear. The straight owned parent company did not WANT any gay business to continue and thus did not allow the buyout to take place.
it is going to start happening everywhere.
