The ones that take such a profound stand against LGBT and appear to be the loudest, are the same ones that they themselves engage in activity unbecomming of a heterosexual. ALOT of those guys are happily married and live in the country. Ahh, my wife had a headache.

KaninZ, its great that you and your partner have been together for 8 years. Why not lead by example? This is the proper and respectable way to live. I just don’t get it. How can you not promote the way you and your partner live for the better of the community?

You also mention about “All American” frat guys… need I remind that Castro 7:12-18 says, “and if a man looketh like an All American frat boy, surely he must be gay. If this frat boy claims not to be gay, surely you must do your best to convert him to use only for your pleasure and lust, but never love, as ye knows that there are many more where this fruit came from”. That’s another gay doctrine that I despise… “he’s hot, I wonder if he’s gay, or he must be gay”. It’s such a shallow existence. Wayne, when you say things like “If you feel otherwise, you’re not human.” you really don’t do your already shakey point any good.

You seem to be uncomfortable with identifying as gay (if, in fact you are) and blame it on the assumed sluttiness of gaydom at large.

You are playing right into the hands of the conservatives who stereotype and pigeonhole us to portray being gay as a negative.

Try viewing the hetero personals before you start gay bashing. Yes, there are things gays need to do to improve our public image but a LOT of that can be blamed on the sensationalism of our media services.

My partner and I living together for eight years in a lifetime commitment, paying our taxes, working to improve ourselves and our community just isn’t as flashy and eye-grabbing as drag queens on Pride day or Dykes on Bikes wearing assless chaps as they tool along in a Pride march.

Not all gays cruise glory-holes or cruise parks and clubs that are little more than meat markets. Again…all things that hetero’s do as well and in greater numbers!
I grew up next to a university town and know for a fact that “All American” frat boys and sorority girls can be just as wanton and slutty as any gay looking to hook up for an evening of consentual fun.

Shawn, let me put on my “minister cap” for a few moments. I’d like to read you a few of the scriptures from the gay manifesto that I never knew about… Stonewall 3:16 tells us “let any man going forward show is homosexual pride by not holding back any of his sexual urges in the name of homosexuality”. Prada 2:2-3 says that “and he came upon a man claiming to be gay. How can this be, you are so unattractive, you must be a heterosexual”. And my personal favourite comes from Chelsea 5:10-14 “and if you should present another with an STD, this is rightful and just in the name of homosexuality. This gift is one that keeps giving. Let no man question your motives in continuing the same”.

Like I said man, you’re outrageous if you think being a slut is acceptable.

You are sitting here calling a respected Federal Judge a homophobe with no merit whatsoever. The man is entitled to his opinions. Let’s reverse this – you’re a heterophobe. You have absolutely no class to sit here and attack a member of your own community who has a legitimate complaint about how sleazy our community has come. Look at ANY of the gay personals. No man in ANY of these personals is looking for a relationship. Their looking to f*ck and nothing more. That’s NASTY. Understand… NASTY!!! It’s too bad another Jim Jones (a true Liberal hero, wasn’t he) hasn’t sprouted up to take a few thousand more Liberal wack jobs down to South America. It’s fitting that you mention Conservatives who have done wrong, but I didn’t see anything about your absconder Liberal folk. Why have you taken everything that I have said so completely out of context. All I said was that our community needs to gain some self respect, self restraint and sleep around less. How is that offensive? Of course hetero’s sleep around. Liberals promote irresponsibility, apathy and reliant behaviour on the government. Conservatives (while not perfect) promote social accountability, justice and opportunity for everybody.
