I'm not sure which is more interesting--the lack of government sanction of this guy, or the fact that his movie's already got a distributor--for a gay-themed movie--in South Korea and Russia. RUSSIA. Where you're probably more likely to face antigay violence from thugs or the state than you are in China. We do live in interesting times. What a trip!
