(Baltimore) A lesbian couple was found dead in their apartment on Wednesday reports the Baltimore Sun. A daughter and niece of an upstairs neighbor were able to open the front door of the apartment and find the couple face-down on their bed.
Several clues indicate foul play, including an open front window and a side window leading to the basement that appeared to have been forced open. The neighbors investigated the apartment to find the source of an “odor that grew so strong that people living next door lit scented candles.”The slayings occurred just days before the couple had plans of moving out and after they had gotten into an argument with a stripper they had taken in and later evicted.
“They were just planning on moving, they said they didn’t want to be in Baltimore,” said property manager Miki Scholtes. “They told us they were going to be out of that place by the end of this week.”
Scented candles!?! I’m outraged! Did they REALLY need to mention the scented candles?
Is there any evidence that this had anything to do with sexuality?
My partner and I have tried helping people in a bind and at least once feared for our safety.
It may be that in terms of random acts of violence, we are all egual.

Meanwhile, this was a paltry piece for something so daunting. If gay men were killed 365gay would’ve had a 3 page lay out.

How do you know it wasn’t another lesbian who killed them? Or, that it wasn’t a crime of passion or desperation by someone they knew, and not a hate crime against lesbians or the LGBT community?
I think it was necessary to mention that the boarder was a stripper. I was an escort for my roommate when she was stripping, and to be honest, for the most part that vocation has a ton of shady characters.
Back to the point! Such a tragedy! Bless those girls.
Occurrences like this are so, so sad. When it happens to one (or in this case two), it happens to all of us. Often it seems that so much progress has been made, but as long as there is hatred and violence, we are still almost in the Dark Ages. Love …
Gay people, stop taking in heterosexuals. They are dangerous. I can’t count how many times I have heard of gay people getting beat up or killed after they let heterosexuals stay at their place. Heterosexuals have an entitlement chip and are bigoted toward gay people.
Its hard to who you are as a person in today society.Things like this hurts.If people would just accept us for who we are things would be better.
Was it REALLY necessary to mention that the person they took in was a stripper? Would that statement have been less effective had it said “an argument with a boarder they had taken in and later evicted.”

It’s a shame that people in this day and age, still have to result to violence. to show their ignorants towards the gay and lesbian community, instead of embracing us as their brothers and sisters !!
