Ginelle, I think the STONEWALL 2.0 pot is bubbling away. There are good suits up in CA and in MASS. There are Referendums in Wash and Maine…and in CA we have already sichtarted working up Repeal of H8.
Go march… meet others, join up and help stir the pot.
It is great that some congressmen threw this in the Legislative pot too. Along with the Matthew Shephard Bill, which has not been signed!!!! The ENDA bill, the UAFA bill, and MREA (which would do away with DADT)… you want something done.. Go do it.

Well, yes, Rep. Frank, repealing DOMA would allow gay married couples to do just like the str8 ones. That’s as it should be. As the Staples Singers said, I don’t give a good gahoot if this passes this term. It’s the right thing to do. Rep. Nadler may be a lonely voice, but he has the courage to be the only voice in the room. That’s some balls, y’all. Some serious balls. Takes a person seriously right with him/herself to go to that, and Nadler has. Look at how the Dems are STILL cowed by Faux News, how they STILL let a MINORITY of GOP nutjobs dictate so much of the agenda. Why do we act like sheep? Where’s the support for Rep. Nadler? WHO CARES if it fails this time? This is a man with truth on his side.

Typical, when it comes to Gay rights and politics, somehow Gay rights ends up on the back burner! Someday, that back burner is going to cause the pot to boil over from the many years of pressure build up.
