DOMA and DADT will never be repealed and Maine and California, along with the 31 consecutive equal rights vicotry for Normal marriages is the proof.

If gays were as equally comfortable in the open, with pedophiles, as they are in the bedroom and bars, this would not be an issue. Gays know that their sex acts are equally as perverse as homosex pedophiles. Do you really think that even your most liberal straight friends accept male anal feces sex as normal?

More liberal bable meant as a pathetic attempt to appease to a left leaning administration who has constructed a smokescreen of delusion. We are fooled to believe in this administration not for our sake but for the sake of the liberal left who will put politics ahead of people. And Mr Holder (a marxist) should explain why his department has defended DOMA and not other laws passed by congress, like laws concerning farming which have been attacked by the DOJ in court and have refused to defend these laws. WHY CANT GAY PEOPLE BE SMART AND LOOK AT THE POSSIBILITY OF BEING PLAYED.

Until President Obama signs legislation repealing both hate-filled laws, he lacks the credibility he claimed to have had during the election campaign. They are just empty promises lacking any validity. I agree with the previous comments that the hard work comes after the laws have changed. Changing hearts and minds will take longer than changing the law.

The government loves to say it is going to repeal DOMA and DADT, but they have yet to simply repeal these old laws, with no explanation as to why it has not been done. There is no work involved in the repeals, and repeals should not be confused with the creation of new legislation, policy and new government services. These old laws just get taken off the books. Easy to do. There is a lot of work that needs to be done by agencies and states AFTER the repeal, but little work before. The delay must only be because the HRC has made the mistake of not applying pressure to them.
