I flew to California to help against Prop . I give of my time and money for gay rights. I write endless e-mails of stern protest to governors and state legislators around my land regarding some antigey injustice or other.

I sat in on gay marriage rights hearings in Congress and in my own state capital to add myself to the number of gay people present at these events.

Beneath my mild manner is a man who does not take antigay injustice lying down.
I am just as motivated as anyone else, I will talk up gay rights, and stay on top of gay news.
I tell tourism people and governors of various states that I will boycott and advocate the boycott of any state pushing antigay constitutional amendments, laws etc.

I have repeatedly pushed and goaded people to OBJECT again, again and again and not take Prop 8 lying down, to rally and to demonstrate aginst these injustices and not to be silent.

Oh no, quite the contrary, Rodney, you don’t know me at all and have not gotten me figured out as neatly as you had thought and you have not read enough of my postings to really know what I have written here a few weeks ago.

You are very incorrectly judging me.

I get very determined and very tough, but I do not use profanity and I stay cool as I believe profanity from me hands a victory to my opponent as that is a sign that he/she has gotten the better of me. But I will not pushed around nor I will tolerate abusive crap from anyone and I will stand up for myself (without becoming abusive myself)

And frankly, I was just stating opinions just like anyone else that people can leave or take as they wish, I am not a leader of anything.

What I am is a “fellow soldier” in the trenches fighting for gay rights in whatever way I am able.

Le processus de voter sur les droits d’une minorite existe meme au Quebec qu’en Californie. C’est cette facon de pensee, que c’est impossible icitte, qui etait un echec en Californie. Les californiens de souche pensaient que leur etat etait plus “illumine” que les autres. Les californiens gais et lesbiennes ont pensee la meme chose que tu, que les minorites les noirs, les hispanos et les asiatiques ne sont pas le menace mais les blancs homophobiques. Tout le monde en Californie avait tort.

Si tu penses que la minorite musulmaine n’est pas capable de faire la meme chose en Pays-Bas ou au Quebec, tu n’es pas capable de penser. Les droits sont a leurs racines politiques, ergo, le processus democratique pourrait faire utiliser en prenant des droits d’une minorite qui n’est pas populaire.

La democratie pourrait toujours faire utiliser pour des mauvaises politiques, soit l’interdiction d’homosexualite ou la prise des droits d’un group minoritair ou l’autre.

With that said, if the Jonas Brothers were some religious cult, and wanted to force Quebec to drink coolaid in Jonas town. I would support doing everything to keep said Jonas Brothers out of Quebec. Would Jonas Brothers followers be disapointed? Sure, would they throw accusations of “religious bigotry” around like the Church of Scatology, probably. But does this make their claims of oppression true? Hell no. So Muzzies over in Europe, should learn to behave like normal people. If they want to impose their religion, they should go back to the deserts and third world countries they hail from. There is NO reason why civilized(CIVIL and secular being redundant) should have to tolerate religious nutcases, no matter how foreign or exotic they are.

Your logic is that Dutch people, just like Quebecois people are racist against Muslims, because they’re dark skinned or exotic. But by the same logic you espouse, Mormons are also oppressed by gay people because gay people don’t want Mormons taking away their rights.

Neither Muslims, Jews or Mormons are being oppressed because people don’t want them injecting their fucking religions into politics. Islam is not a race, it’s a religion. Muslim immigrants to Quebec and Holland are moving from ass backward homophobic countries to progressive modern ones. They are causing problems in both. Imam Said Jaziri violated the human rights codes in Quebec and found himself on a plane deported back to the Islamofascist [crap] heap he was congealed in. Muslims in Holland have been causing serious social problems, Muslims make up a small minority in the population but they make up the majority of rapes, domestic violence calls and hate crimes against gays, women and jews. This cannot be ignored of swept under the rug of multi-cultural political correctness. The truth is NOT always politically correct. Other immigrant groups in Holland and Quebec don’t have the rap sheet that Muslims do. So all this talk about some bull[crap] anti-Muslim bias is nothing but fecal matter.

I’m done debating you when we really agree in principle on many points.

That Mormons were able to defeat prop 8 and force religious views on a larger population is a result of a flawed political process (popular vote on minority rights). As a Quebecer, I’m confident that we wouldn’t allow the same to happen here, nor do I think our constitutional and legal frameworks would support it.

Ergo – I’m not scared of ‘the others’.
