Republicans simply aren’t conservative anymore.

And for the person who suggested we conservatives (voted liberatarian here so don’t bother…..) not accept social security, that idiotic argument is very old. Why would we not accept that which we have paid for, all the while working to eliminate paying for it?

I’m not going to refuse my meager social security check….I’ve paid the max every year for dozens of years….anything coming to me is my money already!

But I will continue to speak out against the obscene size of our government and this ridiculous non-stimulus plan.

Even conservatives can admit we need a stimulus (there is a big difference in adhering to a philosophy and being an idealog about it…the former can bend and apply moderation when necessary). But this is no stimulus, at least most of it.

Paying off Philipino vets? There are many things in here that Ram and the rest of Obama’s cronies were referring to when he said “never waste a crisis”.

It may feel good to support democrats since they at times say the right things about us, but actions would be much stronger and there is so much more to the political world than our equality. If they can’t deliver on that why let them stray from the stimulus simply because they stray towards liberal social programs?

I’ve paid off many mortgages and the fact that I will now subsidize those that choose not to is maddening. And that has nothing to do with gay rights!

Adopt or get fertilized or find a lesbian surrogate mother willing to bear a child for you male couples.

It still takes a sperm meeting an egg to create another future gay male or future lesbian. I want to see lots more young gay men and young gay women in our community, I don’t want to see mostly just middle-aged and elderly gay folk making up the majority of gay couples in our community. AGAIN, THE HARSH REALITY IS THAT WE GAY FOLK NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SOME OF THE PROCREATING OURSELVES and quit doing the eeewww, we just can’t do that breeder stuff, Ewww, we don’t want to raise kids….
BREED with willing people, or get fertility services, surrogates, adopt etc. and pass down your community values to the next wave of gay raised/gay young people and with the politics the way they still are against us, DO IT NOW, OR SEE THE COMMUNITY DIMINISH over the years. There are options like adopting a child in need of a good home and a loving gay couple, and the means for lesbians to get inseminated in states where the state law doesn’t interfere with a non-hetero female couple obtaining those fertility services or with adopting.

Either just do it, and take responsibility for creating or adopting a kid, or if you can’t or won’t or don’t want to get with this program to continue our community via new gay youth out of own efforts for those of us who still phyically able and who still have the physical and emotional stamina and energy needed for the task of raising youngsters….
…. or please stop the bitching about the straight TAB A into SLOT B breeders who put us queers here on planet earth so that we can bitch about those who put us here.
Time to stop the ewww we just can’t be a breeder, ewww, we don’t want the responsibility of raising kids, NO KIDS= NO HOMOS…no queers and no fabulous gay male or lesbian eye candy walking past our aging and dimming eyes.

GET THE DRIFT? STOP THE WHINING AND BREED HOWEVER YOU CAN OR WANT OR ADOPT AND PASS DOWN TOLERANCE AND RESPECT FOR DIVERSITY AND OTHER COMMUNITY VALUES OR BECOME A RARE SPECIES OR FOREVER IN THE “VAST” MINORITY!

HOW DO HETEROSEXUALS STAY IN THE “VAST” MAJORITY, THEY BREED. And a good thing they do, otherwise there would be very few queers or gays (depending on which term is preferred by whom) in various age groups around to bitch about stright breeders on February 20th, 21st, or 22nd, or 23rd, or 24th or 25th of 2009 and into the forseeable future.

By not taking the responsibility for breeding and creating more of our own brand new community members and of our own allies ourselves WE ARE SH***ING on our own selves and on our own potentially supportive gay community and future supportive allies (in the event both derived both are from our own gay/queer loins).

Something to thing very long and very hard about, about whether we are going to contribute to the future of our community OURSELVES or not.

Conservatism has everything to do with personal responsibility and for less government intrusion.
