You have no idea what you are saying. The current Polish govt of Prime Minister Donald Tusk is left-wing, young and progressive. They are not anti-gay and have not remained silent on gay issues. They have however, like Obama, done nothing but paid lip service. As a member of the EU however, Poland already has more gay-friendly legislation than the US does.

You are thinking of the FORMER Polish Govt of Lech Kaczyński and his mini me twin (who still serves as the president, a role that holds no actual power and is only figurative). Kaczyński and his crazy party were very anti-gay but the voters overwhelmingly crushed them when they saw what their right-wing radical policies were doing to Poland’s reputation in Europe. They EU Court of Justice and European Court of Human Rights ruled against Kaczyński and other officials in his party (Warsaw mayor) several times over anti-gay measures they proposed, and opinion polls showed that he majority of Polish voters weren’t concerned about gay issues.

Get your facts right before you post things. Making 2year outdated comments only perpetuates ignorance.

The Menstruator: Poland is not on our side by any stretch of the imagination. Poland’s current government has a gay rights record worse than Bush’s.

For all the things Obama isn’t doing to help us right now, he’s not on the level of trying to make homosexuality itself illegal. Poland’s current government wants to.

And the US has gay rabbis too… A lot, actually.

Very nice, good to know and glad he is doing well.

I can relate to this line a lot since people always confuse my partner for my dad or uncle, lol. (older/younger couple)
