The surgeon general nominee doesn’t look like she’s missed a meal in her lifetime. Maybe her first priority is to go after obesity which underlies such chronic medical conditions as diabetes, heart disease, and a host of other rehabilitative diseases.

AN interesting and well written article (strange for here) let’s hope that Dr. Benjamin is given a chance and not run out of town (DC) on a rail for not being one of the inside boys. The position of Surgeon General should be seperate from the political BS, god knows germs, bacteria and viruses are.

Then maybe she’ll stop gays from using poppers, 420, etc. I don’t trust the government who has my best interests in their agenda. Maybe she should concentrate on the terrible teen pregnancy epidemic, the ignorance of birth control methods, and the environmental pollution that impinges on us all.

Let’s hope she doesn’t become one of those reactionary healthist bullies that’s got to get in our faces for all our vices because smoking, overeating, and drugs killed her family members.
