News flash time! He wasn’t censored because he kissed a man. He was censored because he kissed a man, pretended to finger a girl, and shoved two people’s faces into his crotch to simulate oral sex. If you think they did this because he was gay, you’re ignorant. Don’t get me wrong, I love to see two men who love each other kiss. I’m a proud lesbian. But what Adam did was so out of line and gross. He has shoved our CAUSE down the stairs.

Nothing like hypocrites who condemn Adam on his actions. But praise Carrie Prejean as she parades around as “straight Christian’ showing off her moral and family value assets to young boys.

What’s the big deal?!?!? David Bowie was doing this sort of thing on stage years before Adam Lambert was even born! How quickly people forget!

Forget the media, try looking around on the freakin’ streets. Everywhere you look, those damn hets are shoving their sexuality in your face….from holding hands while walking down the sidewalks to necking in their parked cars outside businesses!

Adam calls this sort of thing a double standard, and I agreee with him on that wholeheartedly. Fact is, if he was straight, this wouldn’t be getting so much overblown attention. That AMA show was given a TV-14 rating, meaning the small children the right wing so erroneously claimed were traumatized shouldn’t even have been watching in the first place. Not to mention the overall lateness of the hour in which the program aired. What parents in their right minds would allow “impressionable children” to stay up so late, anyway, especially when they had school to attend the next morning? Makes no real sense, when you think about it.

I was initially concerned because Adam had started out claiming that he did not want his career to expand on or promote politically motivated messages, especially as they pertained to himself and the rest of the gay community. He’s clearly changed his mind on that front and I, for one, am very proud of him.

I don’t think this will hurt his career. Controversy never does. It can only add to his legacy (i.e. Elvis and Michael Jackson).

Morgan, I find this offensive and racist. How ’bout if I wrote, “clean shaven black guys without even a shadow or mustouche to hide the sheen and shine of their black skin turns me off” You sound like a pretty angry and negative person. There’s enough of that in this gay community which is one of the main reasons this community has so many problems. It’s not coming from the outside, it’s inside.

So let me get this straight (no pun intended):

1500 people or so, out of a reported 14.2 million viewers, complained about this? That is, according to my calculations, around .01056% of the viewers of the show.

From THAT number, ABC is “offended” and now has decided to cancel a live performance by Adam on GMA and further piss off all those fans, even after Adam made a statement saying that he didn’t hold any ill feelings towards them?

There are some serious double standards going on at that network, without a doubt. If that low a percentage of complaints is all it takes to get something pulled off the air, then how about we all start calling in and complaining to the stations/networks every time the 700 Club airs and see if we can get that hypocritical hate-monger yanked off the air? Surely we can do better than .01056% of the viewers of THAT show by the numbers?

What is the big deal with the performance?! It’s like any other performance straight singers would do. In my opinion there was too much going on and it was hard to tell what the song was about. Then again I’m shocked that he had to get semi friendly with a woman. I’m not even that offended or shocked by the whole thing.
