Sarrellec, Thank Goodness there are far more of us that are religious and did not say Katrina had anything to do with God's wrath. Also, thank goodness for the charities and religious organizations that have helped the Gulf Coast States rebuild.

Oh and by the way, the area of New Orleans that were essentially untouched had a high percentage of gay residents.

Anybody remember all the conservative religious Repugnicans that cited the last hurricane to hit New Orleans as being a punishment from Ga-wad?
Wonder if they'll all start yammering again about it, considering the timing and everything.
Face it you god-bothering conservative wanks: God hates you.

Well since Mayor Nagin so badly bungled Katrina, we will see if he has learned anything. It's sad but the good people of New Orleans may find out what a bad choice it was in re-electing a man that should not be a street sweeper.

So all the repubs run home to protect their home states citizens and property. Won't that make everyone safe? Maybe they want to garner a few votes for their fading political party. Pardon me but this last minute pandering just makes me sick. To use a disaster to appear sympathetic and compassionate is blairingly obvious. VOTE FOR OBAMA.
