The GOP seems to forget history when it's convenient. It forgets about Bush, the first, comments about Reagan voodoo economics before he was chosen as VP.

OK,here we go again. My mom taught me that reps are for the rich, dems are on the side of the working people. All candidates always talk promises they cannot possibly fulfill. Also, when you have no answers then attack your opponent. That said I'd like to state once again our Presidents agenda now to do away with efforts to get votes for McCin by easing up[?] on endangered species and environmental protections to find oil and any other resources to fill Americans gluttonous greed for gasoline. In under a couple years for example tigers will be extinct in the wild. The Amazon rain forest can't last too much longer as we need lumber also. Where will it end? These are major concerns we face. By going ahead with this lunacy, if the republicans get 4 more years the future is surely at great risk. Unfortunately all we're likely to hear at these excpensive side show conventions will be the same old bs that we've all heard over and over. I say to pay little attention to both these self aggrandizing representatives. They will enjoy their 15 minutes of fame and leave us holding the bag If you care about your families and children we should ask some very serious questions of both candidates. It's not too late to take back our world from a few rich men. Peace...

This is just another way the Republican Party likes to divide and conquer. I am sure that during the primaries, ALL candidates try to show why they are the better choice and why the others are not. I am quite sure the the person that McCain picks for VP, most likely had a few choice words about him, especially if they ran against him for President. McCain should let the Democratic Party have their 4 days of fame. This is there opportunity to unify as one and rally around one candidate, even if he was not the first choice of many. I am sure the Republican Party would like to have there 4 days of fame the week that follows. While they will use that time, I am sure to put Obama down, they should use that time to talk about why this country has alot of things wrong thanks to the current administration.
