I totally agree that gay organizations should support GSA chapters and help to found such chapters across the United States. The children in such organizations are the future, not only of the gay community, but are the children that will become the adults and voters that will approve or veto all sorts of legislation which will affect the lives of our citizens in our community and our nation.
Perhaps such organizations can lead to gay youth of the future having a much easier time in high school than some of us had to endure. The key to understanding is education not only for gay kids but for all children. Bigotry is a learned response which can only be defeated by replacing it with an education how to apply tolerance to those different from our self.

I applaud the brave students who stood up for their rights and the rights of other GBLT and Hetero students in their school. I’m sure they have bright futures ahead of the them.
For schools and other public institutions this ruling hopefully will serve as a stern reminder that ignoring, discriminating against or excluding GBLT persons and concerns will not be tolerated.

YES….we need GSA’s in all middle and secondary schools. Someone with $$$ (HRC???) could step up and aid this. Stop just having GALA DINNERS.
