After reading the comments on my local massively conservative (yes conservative, not Republican) newspaper, most of the general population could care less which party they belong to, they’re just sick of getting screwed over by their elected officials. Its no longer a question of who is best for the job, but who is the least bad. Frankly, there isn’t much choice between the two anyway.

I’m further astonished about the talk of revolution in the same comments section. When it comes right down to it, the parties are irrelevant. Back to the topic, this Republicrat really didn’t run with the party lines anyway, so its not much of a loss.
