I think it is pathetic how the gay community has taken no action in participated in aggressively partitioning the New York Senate into passing the marriage equality bill, with the dealine being June 20th, 2009. Therefore partaking in a highly forceful partition, to convince the undecided to see the light. I guess everyone in New York wants a part two of California Prop 8on the east coast

re: Rachel "the issue of whether or not torture “works” has no place in the torture debate in a free country."

Exactly! If Murder and Rape are Not Debatable...Then Certainly TORTURE
which is a Federal Capital Crime SEE
http://tinyurl.com/besdd3
is Not Debatable. Prosecute all of them!

Why is it that Kerik can be prosecuted for lying to Bush
but Bush and Cheney can be protected BY OBAMA
for lying to CONGRESS about WMD to get permission to invade Iraq,
a country which had nothing to do with 9-11 (but had lots of OIL).

The Bush Criminals Tortured to get false intel to cover up their WMD Lies.

Would you support Torture after being forced to watch your wife or daughter or partner being tortured or threatened with their rape?

Ali - on your Ms. Information - May ask WTF??? that better be sarcasm in your typing...

This is the BEST solution is for straight atty's going after the Federal Government on this, NOT any of the LGBT groups. Even better one being Dem and one Rep... I like to see either side go after them for pushing their "gay agenda".

I say to the LGBT groups, please refrain from endorsing or funding/etc, let them battle this out. If they need info give it to them but stay back from the main fight and out of the spotlight.

Sometimes you have to throw a big brick when no one else is due to them being "safe". So let the brick fly.

I think both these atty's have enough intelligence not to double cross us on sliding in the "ha ha, we just got DOMA sealed and it's never going anywhere" type thing. If so, shame on me for thinking 2 str8 big time atty's could actually fight along side us and help the civil rights movement even more. And in that case, Canada looks like a good new home... :)
