Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is set to appear on this week’s broadcast of “Saturday Night Live,” the entertainment show that has featured a popular parody of the Alaska governor by former cast member Tina Fey.
Palin will appear Saturday on the show hosted by actor Josh Brolin, who plays President Bush in director Oliver Stone’s new movie, “W.”A John McCain campaign spokeswoman, Jill Hazelbaker, on Friday confirmed Palin’s appearance but offered no details about what the Alaska governor will say or do.
“SNL” is a popular stop on the entertainment circuit for presidential candidates and their running mates. Obama has appeared briefly on the show, and Republican presidential candidate John McCain once hosted it.

Oh man, this could be very good. Palin is the scariest politician I’ve ever seen, and has some very strange ideals, but I’ve got to hand it to her; she certainly isn’t boring to watch! Her son is a fox too…
I’m afraid this might be seen as some kind of endorsement. I hope I’m wrong.
She did very well last night. It’s going to be very bad for SNL when the election is over. I’m not sure they’re going to be able to handle nobody watching again.
It was funny and very amusing but she’s still a stupid,self-righteous [female dog]:)
Palin was funny on SNL. I love the rap bit. You have to admit that she’s interesting to watch. It’s too bad that she tries to deceive the public and she has such outrageous views…or maybe that’s her being coached as a figure head to pump up the religious right.
