I feel that if people want to protect marriage so badly, then they need to have a law in place for people not to be able to file for divorce for small reasons. Thousands of people divorce everyday, why are they not looked at and told they can not divorce for reasons not good enough?

PLEASE DON'T BOYCOTT SAN DIEGO!

Presumably GLBTQAI visitors will patronize GLBTQAI businesses.

Just pick up a Greater San Diego Business Association directory (GSDBA - our gay chamber of commerce) at any business in the Hillcrest district (ZIP 92103) -- boundaries: Laurel St. (south), Front St. (west), Park Blvd (east), Washington St. (north).

Don't miss the free OUTDOOR pipe organ concert in Balboa Park every Sunday afternoon around 2:00 ... there are some great restaurants for brunch near the Organ Pavilion.

About the only thing to really avoid is any of the Hyatt Hotels, owned by Doug Manchester.

Other than that, blanket boycotts hurt US more than the Prop Haters. There aren't really that many pro-Prop-Hate businesses that GLBTQAI people would be likely to patronize; the few that are are easily avoidable.

Hello, Why are there some blanks in the donor list that are marked (withheld). Also, isn't it important for gays to know which companies are Owned by these contributors, not just their employers?? I have read today that there are other legal attempts still in the pipeline attempting to conceal the list?? Thanks!

Ok, now that we have the list of people who contributed to Prop. 8, what's next? I think the big problem is the mainstream gay leadership The pro prop. 8 people are fueled by religious belief and their own prejudice. They got out and went door to door because this was important to them. I wonder if out community were as committed and if our gay friends and relatives were as committed to stopping it, if it would have passed.

Notice all the contributors who live in/around San Diego? I plan to take a brief getaway and had thought about visiting San Diego, but now I've decided to go elsewhere.

We all knew this was going it should not really be a surprise to any of us. I am not a lawyer but I would have thought that "we" should have hired lawyers to stop this sort of (what seems to me) illegal funding by so-called Christians. I do not know if this would hold up in court but a suggestion might be before you can contribute money any voted on item is that you must be a resident of the jurisdiction that the vote is being held.

This might eliminate all (or most) influx of outside organizations. This would *ONLY* be for state (and local) elections. Not for national type positions like the presidential race. This would be also enforced for any people in either congress.
To make it even more restrictive the dollar amount max would say be $100 (this could be adjustable up/down due to inflation as an example.

Look under www.marriageequality.org for marriage equality USA organization.

There is a link in the site as soon as you that is introduced with how Prop 8 as harmed my family or something very similar and you click where indicated and you should soon be reading about the many actual ugly and hateful and hurtful things the Yes on Prop 8 people have done in California communities that have pitted people, neighbors, relatives against each other. How gay couples who have lived for years in neighborhoods, thinking they kind of knew their neighbors after a long while of ilving there just find those same neighbor's yards bristling with yes on prop 8 signs in 2008. They could come home and find their own front doors plastered with yes on 8 stickers. One man takes note of No on Prop 8 stuff on one woman's car and screams at her, "I am going to kill you b***h, I am going to follow you home".
Woman is afraid for herself and gets the police to escort her home. That and other acts committed by Yes on Prop 8 supporters that frighten No on Prop 8 supporters, all on the site.

Hopefully, Prop H8 gets tossed by the CA Supreme Court this March next month or soon enough.

The Yes on Prop 8 people have been incredibly hateful with actual examples of that provided by a site that shows with actual occurances noted down on how gay families have been actually harmed by Prop 8 and by the hostile actions of the Prop H8 people. I will look up the name of this site and I'll be back in a moment.
