Just the fact that so many children are available for adoption proves Ana’s point that one man and one woman are perfect for raising children. Look how well she came out. She was raised by wolves.

Isn’t it amazing how many Gay kids are raised by straight parents yet don’t turn out straight.
Hey hetero morality gives us rape, divorce, abortion, and spousal battery. Of course nature intended that to be passed down to children. Nature mandates it, right Ana? Oh, and I have not been to a bar or club in 20 years and have been with my partner for 18.

Maybe all these straight couples that can’t have kids should stop using invitro. Is there anything more unnatural? Maybe you and your church lady friends can step up to the plate. if I am correct is interpreting that you think homosexuals should live their lives in bars and clubs, I’d strongly recommend that you seek adoption yourself by a loving, caring gay couple, and check back in 6 month’s time with us for a reality check!

The idea that opposite-sex parents are automatically the “best” parents for children is idiotic and simplistic, and falls under the same category as asserting that rich parents are better than poor ones. Quality parenting is not a gender trait. I have seen career women that are great mothers and housewives that are horrible ones. There are fathers that love their children and fathers that abuse or neglect them. In fact, lesbian and gay parents often do very well raising children because unlike straight people they don’t perceive children as an entitlement. Many straights feel that children are an inalienable right that they have and so their commitment is half-hearted at best.

Hello Tom,

I’m happy to know that the thirteen year old to which you have become a legal guardian of is growing up with some normalcy in his life which I’m sure stems from the realities of life that you have not hidden from him. If he’s showing no confusion about the true and proper use of his sexuality I’m sure he will become a healthy and productive member of society in the future and will leave behind his traumatic past once he becomes an adult. I don’t oppose single adults from being eligible for becoming adoptive parents so long as all other choices have been tried first by the adoptive agencies. The family unit of one man and one woman in marriage is always the best nurturing home for a child even when they are not the child’s biological parents. If finding such a couple is not possible then other better suited individuals who can provide a healthy and constructive upbringing for the child must be taken into account first before allowing a single homosexual man to become a legal guardian. But what I as many other Americans object to and find to be a total disregard for the life of a child is for an adoptive agency to allow unmarried couples who are of the same sex to be eligible for adoptions. Under no circumstance should such persons be even considered for such and important task as far as I’m concerned. Proper child rearing is not something that two homosexual men or two homosexual women are capable of doing in manner that’s productive at all and healthy for society, if they were then nature would have allowed for two men to be able to procreate. To allow such a thing to happen whether is through adoption or through other unnatural methods such as the reproductive manipulations being performed in laboratories is an affront to nature itself. I know there are some homosexuals like you who are law abiding and do not seek the destruction of the American family. I know you agree that no one is forbidding homosexuals to live their lives in bars and clubs but that crossing the line into the family unit should not be tolerated because as you have permitted the child you are taking care of to know, it is that institution that allows for live to thrive amongst humans and that’s why it needs to be protected by all who care for the future.

This article is ignorant of haterosexuals’ mindset. Whenever a law relating to gay people comes up for a public vote haterosexuals vote it down. Haterosexuals believe they are better than others including other haterosexulas, haterosexuals want control, and haterosexuals want people to conform to their rigid (illegimate) gender roles.

Hello Ana:
We are all (strait and gay, faith or no faith) sinners or imperfect human beings. I am sure my adopted son is way better off being in a stable loving home, than being tossed from foster home to foster home, or worse in a group home. My child is not confused. He knows he is adopted. He knows where babies come from. He knows that his biological parents could not care for him for whatever reason. He is very loving and caring. He loves everyone and is kind to the mentally challenged and also the handicaped, as well as the plain, overweight and, nerdy.
Why do people think that “tradional marriage” and heteroism needs to be “protected” ? Do you really think that being fair to the 10% (or less) of people who are gay, will cause strait people to stop wanting to be strait or get married ????
And we do not all need to be baby making machines. The worlds is overpopulated.
BTW my son is 13 and really likes girls. He has no confusion about his orientation at all. Now if I could just get him to clean up his room or do his chores.

Thank God we have them to keep us in check morally. They have plenty of time to watch us because they are taking care of nothing else. Nothing.
