Hi James,

Since no one seems to beresponding tonight I thought I’d just write a little.

In a previous letter to a column I have stated my concerns for our animal friends and the destruction of our earth due to human demand for energy and resources. Our President wants to “ease up” on restrictions of endangered species and environmental issues to in my opinion get votes for their ailing party. At what cost will this stupid , quick fix answer due to us as a species. No wild life for our kids and an ugly desolate scarred planet to inhabit. I do not plan to watch any of the convention carnival sideshows aas they bore me too much. I’d rather watch Animal Planet or some other decent informative programming. I just really do care mainly about the inocent animals that have to suffer and die because we are not good stewards to our own world. This for me is more important than a lot of mans frivolous selfish concerns. Without us doing something soon, all the so called issues of today will no longer be [you fill in your feeliongs].
