Another pastor on TV some time ago, said exactly that a person cannot be both a politician and a pastor, that politics and religion are like oil and water, they cannot and should not mix in order to fairly conduct the public business of all the people straight or gay of New York State within the New York Senate and that he cannot choose to represent only his preferred straight New York residents.
