You know what would make more of an impact on people than a march protest through a Gay neighborhood? That refusetohate video being aired in all the major television stations during prime time.

Looks like losing on Prop 8 might have a silver lining. The loss is becoming a catalyst for national community unity and change.

If you all can keep up the momentum, and keep the pressure on religious groups, you might make some real progress. Your Canadian bro’s and sisters are cheering you all the way.

Organizers: tell us how we can help. Get the word out in the gay media in Toronto, Montréal, Calgary and Vancouver.

I’m from Boston, and understand the battle more than most. I was the victim of a hate crime, I received over 110 stitches to the back of my head, a blown out eye socket, and numerous face laceration’s, I lost close to 3 pints of blood.

The Fenway Community Health Center was my safety net. The said the difference between me and Mathew Sheppard, was that I survived.

My only critique of your wonderful film, it doesn’t show the violence commonly done to gay people or in many instances their deaths.

In my opinion this would show the horrors of bigotry at it’s finest.

Lookinforit, that is completely out of left field. Please explain why you feel that these “gay activists” are mean spirited when the rally has not even occured?

I think these marches are going to bring out people that have never been “activist” in the past.

I’m 100 percent for gay marriage, but I wouldn’t protest or march with NYC gay activists if you paid me. They are a vicious meanspirited bunch.
