One of my favorite lesbians, Linda Ketner, is falling behind with 20 percent of the votes counted in South Carolina district one.

Ketner was a long shot, but was doing better than anyone expected. Though she might not make it this time around, I’m hoping for good things from her – when I heard her speak at the DNC, she was feisty, funny, smart and personable – a good match for the charm of, say, Sarah Palin.
